**TOP TIP**
 
'If you are struggling for neatness when whipping over the eye, try glueing the eye onto the stem of the float, once the glue drys, add a coating of Lacquer then when dry, sand the uneven ends of the eye down with fine sandpaper, this is more work to do but when you then come to whipping the threads, there will be no uneven or sharp bits in your way.'
